 Capacitive Sensors

Capacitive sensors can be used to sense both metallic and non-metallic objects (liquid, plastic or wood). They are available in either metal or plastic cylindrical threaded housings. These sensors are dust and water tight as well as shock and vibration resistant. All models feature LED indication of output status and short circuit protection. Both cable and connector versions are offered, a protective housing simplifies installation in tank applications. A screw on the back of the sensor allows adjustment of the operating distance. This adjustment in applications such as sensing weather a container is filled or empty. All models compliant with the CE EMC directive.
